Day of the Dead: Death Despacho Ceremony

A Despacho ceremony is a beautiful Andean ritual where prayers, intentions, and offerings are woven into a mandala of flowers, seeds, leaves, and sweets. This Despacho we will be honoring our ancestors and those who have passed on into the spirit realms for harmony, healing and alignment. This is a powerful way to honor them, release anything you need to forgive, anything held in ancestral patterning, and create new ways of relating in the spirit realms for them to support you as guides now.

I will be guiding each of you to build your own despacho. All materials will be provided, bring any pictures of your ancestors or loved ones who have passed along, human and animal, and any other sacred items.

Ceremony: Opening ceremony, Hape’, Cacao, Building Despachos, Break for food share, Opening Fire Ceremony, Offering Despachos to the fire, Closing Sacred Space.

Dress Theme: Day of the Dead, Candy Skulls, Skeletons, (optional)

There will be a altar on the Offering Tree you are welcome to add anything you like to it as an offering of prayer.
